Neurotransmitters CSF
Neurotransmitters are very unstable and need specialised handling. Contact the Biochemistry laboratory two working days prior to the collection to ensure specialised laboratory staff as well as dry ice availability. Three staff members are trained for neurotransmitter collection.
Phone the previously arranged contact person 5 minutes before the CSF is to be collected. Laboratory staff will deliver the tubes and dry ice.
