Contact the Biochemistry Laboratory for a special collection tube.
1 mL blood is added to the tube which must be mixed well immediately. Hand write on the tube. DO NOT add a patient label.

Pyruvate tubes are stored in the door of Fridge 404. Lab staff to weigh tube before and after collection and note weights on the tube.
