For catecholamine requests on patients less than 15 years old, a random collect will be sent to LabPlus for catecholamines, HVA and HMMA. Random samples MUST be sent immediately to the laboratory for acidification. If after hours, please notify the lab the sample coming to avoid delays. Samples that are not acidifed within two hours will be rejected.
