Diagnostic Use Or Instructions

There is no single screen for vasculitis. Many forms of vasculitis have no associated specific antibody or other laboratory abnormality. Vasculitis is a clinical and histological diagnosis, laboratory results are only supportive. Specific antibodies are only detected in the necrotising vasculitides.
