Midstream urine, catheter urine, bladder puncture urine
If further testing is required, specimen should be delivered to the Laboratory within 2 hours of collection

Limitations:
1. Highly pigmented urine may increase leucocyte levels.
2. High glucose, or the presence of Cephalexin, Cephalothin, or Oxalic acid may cause decreased leucocyte levels.
3. Tetracycline may cause low leucocyte levels or false negative results.
