2 - 10 ml bone marrow aspirate in RPMI, Bone marrow trephine in RPMI
4 ml Heparin (Dark green) Whole blood sterile. Do not centrifuge or freeze.
Blood Samples are preferred for CLL and ?LPN patients with peripheral lymphocytosis.
For other disorders, peripheral blood is suitable if there are >10% blasts in circulation.

Urgent < 5 days, Non-urgent 18 days
Flourescence in situ hybridisation (FISH) with D12Z3 specific probes. to identify and characterise chromosome 12 centromere anomalies. Lymphoproliferative disorders.
