Sample must be received in the Laboratory within 2 hours of collection
For samples within Waikato Hospital, samples must be received in the laboratory within 2 hours of collection and kept at room temperature (NOT on ice or heat).
If despatched from outside Waikato Hospital, plasma must be double spun and frozen within 4 hours of collection.
