Bactec continuous monitoring system
Aerobic and Anaerobic bottles are incubated for 10 days. Positive cultures are updated on LIS and notified by phone.
Please contact microbiology ext. 98646 to inform Blood Cultures for Brucella are being sent. This is to ensure incubation is extended to 10 days.
