Method

Interphase fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) is performed on nuclei from paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue, using probes specific to chromosomes X, Y, 13, 18 and 21 for ploidy screening of products of conception (POC) or placenta tissue.

Diagnostic Use Or Instructions

Detection of ploidy status for ? molar pregnancies . e.g. Triploidy associated with partial hydatidiform mole.

 Screening for Trisomy 13, 18 and 21 and sex chromosome aneuploidies.
