Enterovirus (Coxsackie, Echovirus and Poliovirus) serology is not available. Enterovirus may be detected by PCR in EDTA blood in cases of suspected sepsis or meningitis. For Acute Flaccid Paralysis, please send faeces in sterile container and throat swab on green virus transport swab for viral culture at the reference lab. PCR on EDTA blood should also be requested.
