Please indicate on the request form if the sample was taken at colposcopy, if it is not indicated by the patient label.
In accorance with NCSP guidelines gynaecological Cytology is not performed at WDHB. Any samples received will be onsent to PathhLab or Labplus. The NCSP converted to 100% liquid based cytology in July 2010. Please do not send conventional smears. Please also ensure your smear taker ID number or medical council number is written on the request form.
