Remove 10ml blood from the catheter as waste prior to collecting the blood sample.

Specimen must be analysed within 1 minute of sample collection.

Adult Specimen

1ml fresh whole blood in a plain syringe. Syringe 0.2ml in each channel of a Low Range cartridge. Syringe 0.4ml in each channel of a High Range cartridge.
