Samples are usually collected in pairs as Trough level (within 1 hr before the next dose) and Peak level (1 hr post end of infusion). If once daily dosing is used, a single sample may be collected between 8 and 12 hr post dose (random). Samples will be registered as “pre dose (trough)” or “post dose (random)”. Please state whether the sample is pre or post dose.
