Pancreatic cysts.
Cyst fluid - Whole fresh specimen, undiluted of cyst.
Solid component - 2 air dried and 2 fixed smears should be prepared and labelled with 2 identifiers in pencil and residual sample placed in formalin for cell block processing.
Refrigerate if there is a delay due to transportation or weekend.
At least 5ml is recommended
Place pancreatic cyst fresh fluid in a sterile (yellow top) container without preservative or saline.

4 hours- 4 days + 1-2 days if IHC is required
